STEAK HOUSE has over ten years experience in the film industry (Nickelodeon, Fox, MTV and ABC). On a break from Hollywood, she toured the United States and Canada with the band Ethyl Meatplow, as their tour manager and cross dressing go-go boy, landing in San Francisco. In 1993 she formed Retarded Whore Productions with Brian Murphy, Felicia House and Mark Damian. They produced some of the most popular and experimental clubs in the San Francisco scene (Hellbound, Gassoline and Jesus which received a SF Bay Guardian, Best of the Bay award in 1994). These clubs showcased several seminal acts such as the Ron Athey Co., the Geraldine Fibbers, Tim "The Torture King" Cridland, Crash Worship, Foreskin 500, and Vaginal Cream Davis. Steak is focusing on her new digital media company, Steakhaus Productions, after honing in her digital design skills at SFSU Multimedia Studies Program. Her first short, Lez B Friends/A Biker Bitch Hate Story (1998) screened internationally at Outfest, Frameline, NY Underground Film Festival, Finland’s Tampere Short Film Festival and many more. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in set design.

BRIAN MURPHY graduated from San Francisco's New College with a Bachelor of Arts in counseling and preventative education for youth relating to HIV. He worked as a Master Piercer for the Gauntlet in Los Angeles, San Francisco and later New York City where he also worked as a theatrical lighting intern at PS 122. As a member of the Ron Athey Co. Brian has toured the world extensively as a performance artist and prop master and was a conceptualist and scenic director of the already mentioned Retarded Whore Productions. In January 2000 he returned to San Francisco to become a producer at Steakhaus Productions.
